free anti-virus and security software as soon as the second half of 2009. Microsoft’s current offering named

OneCare, its all-in-one security and PC management service will grind to a halt from the end of June 2009. The new

Nice Touch!

An application for the iPod Touch can transform the music

player into a mobile phone. The freeware app called Truphone uses wi-fi technology in an iPod Touch to enable users

to make calls to other iPod Touch owners. With plans released by the developers showing the possibility of landline

calls being added to the service, it could prove to be a very powerful tool for any iPod Touch

user.

The application will work very much like one

of the most popular VoIP (voice over internet protocol) pieces of software, Skype.
